Low Carb "Nutella"

Anyone try this? It's described as Nutella's less attractive twin sister. lol. I thought that was a funny review. At one carb, I'm thinking of it as a strawberry dip.
I'm not a Nutella fan but I am a chocoholic.

Oh my. I know me. I have never purchased/tasted regular Nutella, cuz...Nutella.
Sugar free Nuti Light. This will take me back to my days when I stood in stores and fondled packages of things while the devil and the angel perch on my shoulder fighting it out.

I'm not worried about over indulging cause reviews say too much causes tummy distress. But I do worry about wasting money. Lol. I think Ima try it tho.0

I don't think I've seen it, but if I do, I might just try it. Unless it's super expensive.0

Sadly, threat of stomach distress never stopped me when I was on a roll. I have not so fond memories of too much sugar free Breyer's ice cream...1

It's about 9$ - which also limits my use. I'll prolly use half servings.0 -
I think I'd probably make my own. The one I found online that interested me was a different brand. But even in my heyday, it was always just a titch too sweet, so I'd want to be able to keep the hazelnuttiness, the chocolate luxury, and WAY dial back the sweetness... So yep, I'd likely have to make my own to be happy and not having it be "liquid crack" to my as my ex-husband used to call it when I'd consume 4 large jars a week (give or take)...1

With carbs that high per serving I'm not gonna try it any time soon and from you description of tummy troubles I'm guessing that one of the ingredients is maltitol which my body does not like. Why not make your own the easy way:
Just add some cocoa powder to this one:
https://www.fastachi.com/product/hazelnut_butter/nut_butter
OR, here's a link to an almond cocoa butter (haven't tried this one myself but going to soon):
https://nuts.com/cookingbaking/condiments/nut-butters-oils/marcona-almond-butter.html
GButter also offers a Cocoa Hazelnut spread. This one I have tried. No, it does not taste like Nutella; however, it is tasty. Unfortunately both the Gbutter website and the Pure Formulas website both appear to currently be out of this flavor.0 -
One net carb is high to you?
Ok.
As far as sweetness that does worry me a little. My sweet tooth has significantly dulled. But I figured if worse comes to worse I can add some dark chocolate cocoa powder to the base to both cut the sweetness (which the reviews say it is) and up the chocolatey goodness!0 -
I just checked. It's actually Erythitol.0

When the total carbs are 17, and given that I eat 40g/carbs total per day, yes that is high.0 -
It just came in. Pretty good. It is very sweet. Ima try it in my coffee. I haven't had Nutella so I can't compare, but it tastes like a nut butter with chocolate and (a lot) of sweetener mixed in.
I'm gonna use it as a sweetener for my coffee, as an ingredient in truffle fat bombs, or I'm gonna try to mix it with dark cocoa and make a dip for strawberries but I don't know how that's gonna work as it's really thick! I'll give it a few days before I review it on Amazon to see if I have digestive issues.
Edit: maybe a frosting for mug cake. Or a drizzle mixed with HWC for cheesecake. Hmmmm, I like the options.
