It's good when you notice any weight plateaus or gains. Keeps you on task, Right?
Plateaus will happen. Weight loss is not linear. It's time to evaluate what you are doing.
Things to try to break a plateau:
(1) Be honest with yourself on your exercise efforts. Mix up your exercise routine. Never do the same thing over and over. Raise the intensity. Increase resistance on machines. Add more weight if you are strength training.
(2) Log your food. Evaluate if you are eating and getting fluid in according to your dietician instructions. Hit your macro goals. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!
(3) Be consistent. This is your healthy life style. You only have to worry about what you are going to do with the twenty-four hours you are given. Don't think about the future or the past. Repeat each day. The little things you do each day will pay off.
(4) You invested money in this. Invest in yourself. Understand the first year is your golden year to loose weight. It gets harder after that. Pay attention to your behaviors. Make this lifestyle a normal habit in life. It will make a difference in your long-term success. The work does not after you reach your goal weight.
Wishing you the best,
Jenn
