It was easier for me to just add a link of my pictures I have 2 wonderful dogs, both rescues, one is a lab mix that I recently rescued. He was locked in the shelter for over 2 yrs, no one wanted him because previous adopter that returned him said he was aggressive. He's just miss understood. This was his first real backpacking trip. He had to confront people and dogs on the trail, and did great.

Wow those photos are beautiful!! We have a couple of rescue dogs who could easily be misunderstood, sometimes it's hard work, but totally worth it. Have you gone on any more hikes since? Feel free to add me, my two boys (dogs) and I go hiking all the time, nothing long or exciting at the moment since we are in Florida where it's insanely hot and flooded from the summer rains (and very flat), but we still make it out to the trails nearly every day for a couple miles.
