Welcome to June, come on in and join us for a walk. Set your goals, lace up your shoes, grab your water and let's head out.

I like June. My garden is planted, spring yard work is done and I can now focus more on my exercise.

What are you going to do this month?

    Goals for June
    - 120 miles
    - 15 over 10,000 steps
    - water water water!

    I know.... same goals as last month, for me it is a challenge. My grandchildren spend 8 days each month at my house, so those days it can be hard to get the steps in. I live in the country so sometimes we have unwelcome wildlife.

    Well, since I have a birthday coming up in August and I have a friend that is planning a trip for us to places unknown!?!? I am trying to get down 10-12 pounds or at least look like it so I hope to find a balance with my steps and working out. I tend to get caught up with the numbers and then I have no energy to workout. But to keep things interesting I would like to have my weekdays be step progressive not the other way around, so this will mean I need to be aware of what I am doing each day :)

    I excited to see if it works.

    06/01 - 9.72
    . . . it's almost 5:30 and I only have 5.82 miles so far, but I am going to really try and meet my goal of at least 9.73 miles today!!

    I will be really upset with myself if I don't really try.

    Amazing how I can leave the house in the morning to water and check the greenhouse, the garden and other things in the yard and come in an hour later with 5000 steps! I seem to be busy with projects . And I have finally lost the weight I gained during the winter. Yeah!!!

    What a busy weekend. I should have attached my pedometer to my 11 month old grandson, if he wasn't sleeping he was walking.

    Had a bad night's sleep last night...no long walk before work today...usually out the door by 5:30 and walk for 30 - 45 min. Not today.

    Still at it . . . I am actually liking this because it makes me stop and do more strength workouts because I am not so focused on steps. :)

    Very proud of my final June Miles of 133...that was without the move...I have set my daily goal on my fit bit at 12k...I hit that 10 times.

    I had upped my fitbit goal from 10K to 12K after seeing what I was capable of during the move.

    May, I hit 12K 10 times as well. My high was 24K the day after the move...when I was cleaning out the old place.
