Good for you! I have totally been unable to get my mind in triathlon training, and have just decided to focus on running as much as possible during the summer, getting in swimming for fun and some recreational biking events, and doing an occasional half marathon as the mood strikes me. All of my training is going to be focused on hitting my training plan for the Chicago Marathon, which will be 18 weeks away starting this coming week (my Higdon plan is 18 weeks long).

I have been eating well since Memorial Day, at least, and am sleeping better too. Have to go to St Louis next week, and traveling always messes me up, so will try not to let it.

I did it in 2005 and wasn't going to do it again but got reminded by a co-worker that it was the 40th and should be an event. We both signed up, both got through the lottery, and now are blaming each other for this! ;-)

I do think it will be fun. It is a great race, and at least no hills!
