Its time. Time to get back to basics...focus on healthy eating instead of training for triathalons. Finished fifth in my age group today and next tougher triathalon in 6 weeks. I can plan out training plans for biking, swimming and running while working and family with ability to juggle all so going to focus on getting back to
1. Menu plans
2. Cooking ahead
3. Eliminating processed food from house and grocery list
4. Wise decisions while eating out
5. And yes...daily log.
Healthy nutrition is going to be more important than training.....although i did just buy a new bike! Seriously, its time...Onward!

Photo is where triathalon was Sunday....in the rain!

    Beautiful!

    My goals this week:

    (1) Sleep (been much better about this, but want to keep up)
    (2) Run in the morning 4 of 5 weekdays and get in my long run
    (3) Get in a swim (just one, shouldn't be so hard!)
    (4) Log consistently
    (5) Stay in calories

I have dinner out with friends one night and will be traveling for one overnight (affects one or two dinners, depending), so that will be the biggest eating challenge.

I survived graduation, open house, two days out of town AND two days of orientation and registration at Ball State, and was able to maintain! My stress level has been pretty high and I've not been to the YMCA in weeks. I've gotten my exercise moving tables and chairs, painting my living room and walking all over campus!

    My goals are:
7-8 hours of sleep every night
8 glasses of water everyday (after all this time, I still miss this one a lot.)
    Stay within my calorie goals
Get the lawn mowed by Friday
Get 6500+ steps every day. I'd like to say get to the Y 2 or 3 days, but I'm being realistic with my schedule this week!

So coming up to the end, how are we all doing? I had a good week last week -- pretty consistent despite stress and travel and managed to get all my runs in. Still no swimming, but that's the plan for this evening!
