Keto and Workouts

Hi, I do bootcamp 3x per week and it's mainly HIIT type exercises. I find i'm lacking in energy a fair bit when it comes to my workouts. Could anyone advise if i should be having some form of carbs on the day of bootcamp sessions or what i could do to boost my energy. Yes i am eating enough and tracking what i eat and my macros.

    If other things don't work for you and you must eat carbs, try the UCAN superstarch. I've used it and it works well for me. Not supposed to take you out of ketosis I believe.

    Hi, I have been low carbing for a few months now and i aim for 20g or less carbs.

    After a few months of that low carbs you are definitely fat adapted. Might just need to step up your focus. What time of day?

    until you are not fully keto adopted, your workout usually will suck. my wife went through this process too.

    give your body around 4 to 6 weeks, and you will perform much better, and even with a feeling the longer your HIIT will go, the more power you will have.

    to avoid the first 15 minutes lack of energy, drink 30 minutes before around 250 ml water with a tsp salt. that should solve it.
