Finally somewhat in the groove, except sleep is still spotty and I can't seem to get myself to go swimming. Been running consistently and eating well, at least!1

I am getting back into the mojo of eating correctly logging and starting to exercise again. Went out shopping with my mom OMG okay what happened to my flat abs how can they turn into a pile of mush so fast. It's like my weight all re-positioned and it wasn't pretty. Granted my mom was in a crabby mood and so I let her play dress up with me and thus I was trying on some pretty awful things which wasn't helping my self esteem. My groove needs to get a move on and get serious. I don't want to look like the woman in the dressing room mirror forever.2

Boogie boarding daily, morning beach run and bike ride except the two days of solid rain. On family vacation...did you know that boogie boarding expended 400 calories for 90 minutes? I' m still waterlogged.1

I was deciding to get a new battery as my scale doesn't seem to be budging and I can't remember the last time I changed it.0

Aha! Maybe that is the reason i did not lose any net weight this challenge. Same 4 pounds up and down...i have been persistent in triathalon training but not in nutrition. Totally eating out too much and fast food too....processed foods etc. @lemurcat12 ..shall we start a new challenge or just extend this one?0

It's been slow so I'm cool with just extending this one if others are in.
I am so frustrated with myself -- it's consistently a week or two on, all is great, and then I fall apart for 3 days to a week. It's been an emotionally stressful spring/summer, but I need to stop letting that get to me and using it as an excuse.1 -
Yes sounds good we can go till labor day. Let's hope we all have gotten through the rough patch. I will still see about getting a new battery for the scale.LOL1

Bought battery tonight! So we shall see tomorrow...ate out at meeting tonight but very conservatively...rainbow trout with spinach and rice and salad.. about to log todays food but with no activity today....grocery shopping tonight with no processed foods except

I'm in for Labor Day! I'm UP two pounds on this challenge, over the last three weeks or so! My boys and I talked about cooking more at home, and getting back to the Y. Terry likes to use the weights and run, and figures before he goes to boot camp (Nov) he should practice for the swim test! Brady and I like to hit the treadmill with an episode of Netflix. He's working on healthy habits to head off the Freshman 15. Me, I'm trying to solidify my new size 10! Sometimes a 10 works, other times, I'm still in my baggy 12s. We should start a new "goals" thread for this next run...0

Open water swim after short beach run then 16 miles on bike. Ate out twice but still under net calories and a good day carb balance. Logging daily...with daily scheduled reminders ftom college daughter..0

Thinking my scale is broken...after 4 days under net calories and 34 miles total of biking.running and swimming....no weight loss....exact number...got 5k race tonight ( i consider it a group timed training run with goal of alive and well at the end of the day. Already have work weekend food prepped and packed ( work 12 hours in the ER)1

The other day I kind of had a melt down and ate a whole bag of cheddar puffs thinking it's a puff how bad could they possibly be. Well 720 calories. I guess you could say it was my turning point as I got my rear in gear that day to burn off some of those puffs. Today I put on pants as its cooler out. Skirts and dresses are also a lot more forgiving. My legs and thighs are great but I need to work on my waist which is thicker. Time to get cracking or come fall my pants are going to be tight. I really do need to loose those extra pounds.0

I'm totally down until Labor Day. I didn't really lose anything cuz my depression has been up and down. I just wish I had the same motivation I did when I was 21. Like no matter what nothing stopped me.0

I wish the woman I walk with 1/2 xs a week could do it every day. She is young and has a life. Today I am going to take clothes and if it's nice I guess I will walk by myself. The area is half open and then half secluded and sheltered wooded area. The open area I feel comfortable walking its the other side at times gives me the willies.0
