Paleo & Zumba

Hey, everyone! New to paleo - 8 days on now, 8.5 pounds off - and I've been doing my regular workouts, which involves Zumba 3x+ a week and 2-3 days of Pound. Today I was reading that HI workouts aren't even necessarily effective on paleo ("they burn calories, not fat!")

I guess I'm just trying to understand the logic. I really enjoy high intensity group workouts over like, walking, so I'm just wondering what your thoughts are. Am I taking the statement above too literally? While I enjoy the social aspect of the workouts, and just think they're a fun way to work up a sweat, I'd like it if they actually did me some good, weight-loss-wise, too!

Thoughts?

Breathing burns calories too. I think that's pretty silly guidance. If you enjoy the workouts, keep with it, and they will be effective.
