This is Carpenter Ant Awareness Week.
You had best be aware. When dey go on strike, all de-construction projects cease.
This is Meet A Mate Week.
Probably most easily done at the gin mills near naval bases.

You can call your frou-frou drinks anything you want, but a martini is made with with gin, a wisp of dry vermouth and a lemon twist or olive. Use anything else, including vodka, and it is no longer a martini. Now excuse me while I go to the liquor store.
World Sauntering Day.
The more martinis imbibed, the classier the saunter.
National Eat an Oreo Day.
The cookie so good, it has two days, like it's three halves.
National FreeBSD Day.
First, I had no idea it's free.
Second, I never heard of it.
Finally, I didn't and still don't care.

Agree with the martini comment except for vodka. But don't just put something in a martini glass and call it a "____tini." Ugh!!
