Broke my chicken wing streak - meh...

One of the foods that got me to WW was an abundance of 'Buffalo chicken wings'. Being a few miles south of that city, every bar and grill around serves 'em. I haven't had a full order (10-12) of wings since I started WW in 2014. Well, last night I met a friend for dinner at a place that makes them well (if you like that kind of thing) and decided to get an order since they were half-off.

They were puny little *kitten*, not the oversize plumpers I remember! They were OK, but certainly nothing to write home about. No wonder they were half off. They were probably the perfect order of wings for a WWer.

As with other foods previously discussed this week, they left me kind of meh. Certainly not worth getting excited about or saving room in my food budget for those little morsels. Tracking the order of 10 and one beer wiped out my allotted weekly points that had just rolled over the night before, but that's OK. Learning the wings are just not worth it is a good lesson learned.

No accolades needed; just wanted to share the experience...

I've had that experience too, not chicken wings, but other stuff that I used to love. Many of those things just aren't that good. Now pizza - I love veggie pizza sad to say.

I saw a meme on WW Connect that basically said FOOD was their main happiness in life.
I'm glad that I have found other things.

The realization that I used to Live to Eat and now eat to live has probably added years to my life span (God willing).

Veggie pizza IS awesome.. I've had to redefine what I like in pizza... More veggies, thinner crust (have come to really embrace a super thin crust now), less cheese.
