    @texasgardnr ... thank you for the welcome.
    I like the new band from miracle miles. It is a gel like band that helps you get a better grip..and engage the muscles you are supposed to be engaging. I find with the resistance bands that I sometimes put too much pressure on my wrists, rather than engage the correct muscle. Love the workout too... it incorporates a bit of hit as well.

    Thank you for the welcome everyone.
    Today I think I will do Walk to the hits- Radio Remix.
    I don't really set a calendar of workouts per se....What has worked for me in the past is to set a goal for 45-60 minutes of walking per day. Depending on how busy my day is, I will do the whole workout early on in the day... if I have lots to do, then I will do 1 or 2 miles in the morning and one in the evening.
    I find that even if I have to break it up like that, I look forward to the shorter walk with Leslie in the evening

    Deeder I heard about the storms in MI from one of the channels I follow on YouTube! She could not post because Comcast was out in MI and that rarely happens. Hope all is well now.

    July goals
    - 120 miles
    - 15 days over 10,000 steps
    - water, water, water
    - refinish dresser and cupboard.
    - paint new cupboard
    - get my craft room back together

    I think it important to not only set goals for our exercise, but also for our projects. My refinishing projects have been waiting way to long and it is time to get them done.

    July 10 - 3.07 miles
    July 11 - 2.75 miles
    July 12 - 5.21 miles - 11474 steps (6/15)
    July 13 - 3.60 miles
    July 14 - 3.91 miles
    July 15 - 3.20 miles

    Running total 62.21 miles and 6 days over 10,000 steps.

    I have picked up a summer cold. My grandson had a bad sore throat and chest cold. Only thing is, mine isn't not bad enough to go to the doctor. Being outside in the heat is a killer, so i am jyst not quite functioning up to par.

    Oh well plugging on....

    Just popping in to catch up and say Hi!

    I was a busy bee yesterday and ended up with 5.30 Mills tracked. Mowing the back yard is a kicker. My legs feel it today.

    July 17: 3 miles: Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan, the red mile x 3.

    I didn't sleep well last night and thought I'd be doing good to manage one mile, so I logged in on the "Wednesday" one mile walk. Then at the end of the mile I was feeling somewhat better and so I just started that mile over rather than go through the whole menu and warnings to add a different second mile, then did the same and repeated the red mile again to add a third mile. Next time I'm struggling with wanting to exercise I will log in on the Friday walk and just skip around to different colors of miles if I want to add in another mile or two. It would make it more interesting instead of repeating the same mile over and over :p . But I surprisingly ended up doing three miles!

    @Tsoufla, I also found that the resistance bands sometimes puts too much pressure on my wrists. Especially after having fractured my left wrist. Thanks for giving me your review of the new band :)

    @Lilymay2, feel better soon <3

    @AnnofB, great miles!

    @zichab, Enjoy your granddaughter's visit. It seems like we just blinked and she is three already. If only we could bottle the energy of childhood and use some later on in life :noway: I'm enjoying your progress of 'walking' to NY!

    @Deeder522, awesome exercise mowing your back yard!! Super mileage!

    @PinkyPan1, you're adding up some serious miles golfing! Awesome o:)
