No muscle soreness?

I have been doing Intermittent Fasting for 5 days now, and my fast starts usually at 10:30PM and I workout at around 12AM, I have realized I have no muscle soreness the next morning I wake up, is it because I'm not taking in any protein after my workout or is it normal to not feel the pain on specific muscles?
I've started working out again after a few years, and I was expecting some sort of muscle pain, but there is none, except in my triceps!

    I'm not sure. But count yourself lucky. Maybe you are in better shape than you thought!
    I strength train at the end of my fasting time and feel like the DOMS is much worse over the past couple of weeks. :(
