Lovely supper this evening - the first runner beans from the garden, sliced, and mixed wth spiralised courgette. Fried in butter, seasoned with chilli salt, garlic and pepper. Bolognese sauce on top. Beautiful, filling and only 16 grams of carbohydrate!
Breakfast was from the garden too - gooseberries sweet enough not to need sugar with full fat yoghurt.

I'm enjoying all the stuff from my garden too! I'd love for you to ship some of that zucchini across the pond (or from wherever) to me. I lost all my blossoms in the heavy rain.1

My 14 year old son got inspired to grow a garden all of a sudden and even though its late to just be starting and I personally don't even eat them, I've helped him start a few things that come to harvest pretty quickly.
He's been so cute tending to his baby plants.
I can't wait to see him harvesting and helping to cook them. I think I'll have to have a zero carb cheat to indulge him.3 -
Oh the things Moms do for their children.3

We have so much squash and zucchini...I wish I had a zoodler. Lots of blackberries, too. My greens and tomatoes aren't doing worth a darn. Of course the maters will grow into October, so the are just getting ramped up.2

I have only 3 tomato plants and they are loaded. I've given some to neighbors, gave some to a client and last night I made Chicken Paprikash for for dinner using fresh tomatoes versus canned just to use a bunch up. Had to steam (or whatever it might be called in the cooking world) them 1st to remove the skins. Made me aware of how many tomatoes must be in a can of diced tomatoes.1
