Does anyone have a some what accurate count for the macros in a T-bone steak? When measuring, is the bone included or just the meat? I have seen ranges out of this world, even one that said an 10 oz T-bone had 54g of carbs? Really? I don't think so. Thanks in advance!

Here is a shortened link to the info for raw with bone in nutritional data from USDA database:
    https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/3914

When all else fails, Go to https://ndb.nal.usda.gov to do nutritional searches.

    Never trust MFP database.
You can include the USDA after your search and find entries made by people who may have used good info, but you still have to check it over to see if it seems to make sense.

I also like fatsecret.com. They also give context info, too.

Besides, I make so many, individual, personal (peculiar?) dishes for myself, I'm sure that if I tried to enter a recipe accurately, the MFP database would blow a fuse.... I mean, have you tried logging a 25g nugget of beef marrow-bone, 110g of squid tentacles or 420g of chicken gizzards...? So damn tedious searching, choosing the best option, entering a new ingredient, logging it.... argh!

Yep, that's why I quit logging like a year or so ago. Took me longer to log meals than cook & eat them, lol. Unfortunately, I do better on my eating plan when I pay attention to logging.

I eat everyday common foods. Fish, meat, vegetables, some fruit, eggs, dairy oil/fat. Over the course of time I found correct entries for common/frequent foods I eat and saved each under the "my meal" category by an appropriate measure such as 1 ounce or 1 tablespoon. Now all I have to do is go to the alphabetized "my meal" category, click on the item and enter the amount I'm eating. One can save 100 items under "my meals". As I recall, 4 pages of 25 entries. I don't split hairs over t-bone versus ribeye (as example). They are similar enough for my purposes.

Most of the time I favor tracking. When I don't, I take a break. (I'm in maintenance). I try to not let "the tail wag the dog".
