    Gonna be a pass day -- tracked everything and did over an hour of exercise, but the calories just ran away from me today. I'm not proud of myself, especially since I fly tomorrow, but facts are facts.

    It happens. Don't be hard on yourself. A new day tomorrow. You can do it!

    August 3 is a pass day for me. First one and it's early yet. Exercised and tracked, but went over on calories today. My problem was being too lax when lunchtime came. I didn't make a plan ahead of time so one thing led to another and I'm almost 200 calories over budget. Lesson learned...plan, plan, plan ahead. Tisk tisk. Lol

    It happens. As above, don't be hard on yourself. You've learned from it. I'm still learning from my set backs. We just have to keep trying! Good luck!

    Well done to everyone for being honest about struggles. This journey is hard and we all have challenging days. One day at a time, one meal at a time, one work out at a time (whatever form that takes) we will get there!

    Yes x 3. We rented tubes and floated down a river for 2.5 hours today. I love being in the water so I spent an hour of it swimming and pushing my husband and our tubes. Most enjoyable workout I've had in awhile!
    @pribud we are at a retreat centre on the island! It's beautiful out here but between that smoke and the humidity, the past few days the air has felt heavy! Today seemed much less hazy.
    (My first time trying to quote someone, lets see if it works!)

    @gus130 - A friend of mine went through chemo a few years back and she was sick all the way through, she was a runner before the chemo and during it she couldn't run the length of herself, about a month after she was finished her last treatment she was up and at em again, slowly to start with but shes full of beans once again ... stick with the plan you are an inspiration to us all with your determination each day.

    @Slimpossible007 wow...26... i don't think i would be feeling my bum after that...lol

    I couldn't feel much after it lol ... then it was the pins and the needles ... ouchy!

    August 3rd **I am taking a pass day**.

    Exercise: 40 min walk with the pup
    Calories: over a bit
    Tracked: everything
    Miles: 2.15

    Spent the day with my dear friend shopping and sewing. I went over calories but nothing outrageously unhealthy. It was a lovely relaxing day.

    Lots of posts to read today.........love it!

    A reminder to everyone that is using pass days, do not beat yourself up over this, they are there for a reason and we all use them now and then. Yesterday is the past, leave it there and focus on the present, the gift of a new day B)B)

    Yes, yes, yes! Stupidly busy day but exercised (45m walk & moving stuff in the house), tracked and stayed within calorie budget though consumed quite a few exercise calories - was going to try avoiding that but hard today.
    @Gus130 I really hope you're feeling better soon and able to do more

    @craigo3154

    Thought for the day: "Ibuprofen can cause fluid retention."
    (When I heard this, I did the research through the medical papers. And yes it is true).
    [/quote]

    This happened to me actually! Ibuprofen reacts badly with me and I retain fluid. It is a strange side effect !

    35min walk out with the dog. I had to skip Rugby training as I've been exhausted. Very run down and stressed out with work = trouble sleeping. Hopefully will get this back to normal soon.
