For those of us who had RNY bypass surgery - any suggestions for an iron supplement that won't bother our new tummies??

I take Vitron-C with no problems. Other post-ops I know take Sundown Perfect Iron.

The ASMBS recommends 54 to 63 mg iron for menstruating women (and only 36 mg for everyone else).

Sadly my hemoglobin has always been high. So I really don't supplement iron much since spinach in shakes is a regular, and I love liver. Still the iron chews are a treat. Now if I could get calcium and magnesium levels where they belong:yawn:
