Berger on why BG rises after eating protein, and why that is not bad compared to carb BG spikes

I saw this link posted on another board to Amy Berger's blog, Tuit Nutrition, on gluconeogenesis, blood glucose rises, and glucagon after eating protein. It explains why BG often rise after a higher protein meal and why that is very different (slower and lower)than the BG spike people see after a higher carb meal. VERY well written.

It is aimed at everyone but it does address T1D and T2D BG reactions to a really big meat meal.
