Really compelling TED-talk on insulin resistance

Guys,
If you have struggled with your weight despite exercising a lot, I encourage you take a look at a recently posted TED-talk.

This really hit home for me and my experience over the past 10 years. This guy was eating according to the FDA food pyramid and exercising 3-4 hours *per day* -- and he gained 40 pounds and got metabolic syndrome. Then he changed his diet and in the video, you will see he looks awesomely fit.
It's also a moving personal talk about how the conventional wisdom that being overweight causes diabetes and all the bad things that comes with that may be completely wrong-headed and backward.
I'm going to drastically ramp-up my fast carb control and I'll let you know if it helps.
