Migraines and Vertigo post op

Hi,
I am about 15 mos post op. Suffered from migraines for years, and had a bout of vertigo only 3x prior to surgery. The past 2 months I have had vertigo kicking up quite a bit -- the last incident was a few weeks ago but it wasn't the benign kind where the crystals in my in er ear got out of place. The ENY had nothing to say or give me to help, just a sheet of movements to do.
Vertigo kicked up again in the middle of the night so I am working from home and getting ready Togo to the chiropractor soon.
I am going to do the VNT test next week - hoping to get to the bottom of this. Anyone experience an increase in migraines or vertigo post op? My blood pressure tends to run low now after surgery and read that can cause vertigo. Thanks!

I had a BAD case of vertigo last fall. ENT gave me all the tests and there was no cause found. My GP suggested taking lipoflavonoids which I did, and she also increased my vitamin B and magnesium. You might want to try that? I also took small doses of less-drowsy Dramamine to help with the symptoms. My GP said lots of things can cause vertigo - low BP, in my case possibly pre-menopause, I also have a low resting heart rate, not enough of certain vitamins, stress etc. My vertigo lasted several weeks and I had a really hard time because I couldn't even really exercise. Thankfully it subsided and I have had no issues since.0

I also haven't really been working out like I had. I have had a ton of stress too! Amy particular B vitamin you increased - dumb question but what are lipoflavampids?0

Lipo-flavonoid is a supplement that is supposed to help with tinnitus and vertigo, it's a combination of things. Once the vertigo went away I stopped taking it because it can be pricey. My doctor said to increase B2 (riboflavin) but I just bought a complete B complex supplement since it's a little hard to find B2 on it's own.0

I will look at that. Didn't realize lipoflavampid was a single supplement - lol0

I can't add any advice - but someone in my WLS support group has struggled with vertigo post-lap-band surgery. Hers went away when she hit her head hard against a car door (not on purpose) so obviously I don't recommend that. But I do believe it is possible to happen.
I haven't really had a headache or migraine since surgery myself, thankfully!
Hope yours gets resolved quickly.0 -
My only bouts of vertigo were a few days before my surgery (crystals). But I hope you get to the bottom of it - it's awful!0
