What a switch in internal dialog!
Before: The constant watchdog! What were those calories? You shouldn't have! That's 400 calories, 1/3 of your day! What! You can't waste them on an apple, a cup of low fat yogurt, what! A cup of spinach? Stop! That! You only have 1200! Save them!
To now: omg, I've eaten 700 calories in my scrambled egg, with cream cheese and slice of bacon and coconut oil coffee. Now, it's lunch time and I've already eaten a lot!. But, my body is hungry. So, decisions. Do I feed myself with a salmon steak left over from last evening, with a sweet potato? Resoundingly, yes!
And then, at dinner, I once again feed my hungry self. A bone in pork chop with a brussels sprout apple salad and a slaw.
Where was I for a few decades? Now I question myself when my stomach growls, have I eaten enough? Instead of the old, have I eaten too much.
