I thought this might be of interest given how often things like fiber, dairy, etc. come up in regard to LC diets.

I was really excited and hopeful for this - until I saw that this was sponsored by Enzymedica...

I think selling product is the main game of many be it supplements or Rx drugs. As they say nothing happen until a sale occurs.

While I understand this it still raises questions about self interest getting ahead of patient/client best health interests.

@ccdragon - I just find them to be over-priced and under-functioning... I've tried I think 5-6 different digestive supplements these days, and they are marketed as the best ever, most effective, and all that, and they really just aren't - at least for me. They are missing several key components that I find to be critical to efficacy - or they have only a fraction of the percentages I find most effective. I've tried doubling or combining different supplements, but the efficacy just isn't there. I got a free sample (paid shipping) of the "gold standard" of their formulas, and it seems like all it is is a marketing ploy to get more money out of folks.

Now perhaps if your digestion is only minimally compromised, these might be a good thing, but as someone who's been without a gallbladder since December of 2000, and had digestive, bathroom, and other troubles, nutrient deficiencies, food intolerances, and goodness only knows what else along the way, I'm so over anything that doesn't work...and flat out, for me, this doesn't. Best thing I have to say about it is that my fiance, who is lactose intolerant, used one about like Beano or Rolaids to help after he was accidentally over-lactosed! It helped his misery somewhat, but not the rest of the process...
