How long did it take you to get into ketosis?

I'm on day 5 and just did a test strip. It shows only a trace. I read 2-10 days is average, but I'm curious to see how everyone else did? Also, does that just mean I'm starting and it will increase or stay the same. I don't know if its gradual or not.

Think of the strips like a pregnancy test. You either are or you aren't. You can't be MORE pregnant and they can give you a false negative but will never give a false positive.

The color means nothing. It's too easily influenced by hydration and how frequently you empty your bladder.

I was testing blood ketones over 0.7 within about 18 hours of going keto. It's not difficult to achieve like people would have you think. That rumor lives on because of the testing urine method and it's ability to easily give a negative result.
Stick to 20g total carbs a day an you'll be in ketosis within 2 days guaranteed. You couldn't stop it if you wanted to unless of course you are more carbs.

Was about 2 days I would say. Maybe 3. Happened like Sunny_Bunny_ said it would!
