Eating more

Okay folks, I'm starting to wonder about if I'm doing this right. I'm seeing a lot of people who are saying that they're struggling to eat their calorie goals for day as they increase to their projected TDEE. I decided to "rip the bandaid off" and just jump up to that amount. I was deprived too long. The scale has been increasing steadily for a few months because I switched from a standing/walking job to an office job before starting this, so the thought of it going up a little more doesn't bother me so much. I think of it as a bulk because I do lift very heavy things and put them back down.
It seems like everyone is really struggling to eat more, and I'm sitting here with a massive bowl of stir fry steak and veggies, and fully plan to eat an entire cantaloupe to myself after. I have no problems eating that much. If anything, I'm still kinda hungry at the end of the day. I had a "cheat day" and easily ate 500cal over my projected TDEE of 2700. Am I alone? Anyone else have such a voracious appetite that they still were hungry after jumping up?

You are not alone! I never have a problem with eating my calories. I am at 15% cut and get close to 1800 a day. I'm comfortably satisfied when I go to bed but I'm hungry when I wake up. I get pretty close to my 40/30/30 macro goal.0

The first time I tried a reset I went from 1200-1400 calories a day to 2700 a day with no problems. Other than I felt like I could've ate more!
This time I'm struggling but back then I was a regular binger, where this time I had been eating smaller lighter meals for a few years and no binging anymore. Believe me, I had thought the same thing the first time! I am still surprised when almost 5 weeks later I'm still not used to these higher calorie days.
Definitely nothing wrong with not struggling!0
