We had Libby spayed today. And Moxie, my grand dog, is spending the weekend with us. Not sure how a large pitbull mix is going to do with my four little guys

I was 149 this morning. Shooting for 1 pound less a week!

166 today. Top of the bounce. Did not say "No!" to nighttime eating tonight. Will pay for it tomorrow.

103F in La Honda today. It's never been over 94 before. Insane!
    TOO HOT!

OMG, Chris, your neck of the woods must have been awful! I'm worried about the little boy who is inappropriate. Where did he learn that! Your poor DDF!!!

145.6 this morning at 5:00. Getting happier. However, I was looking back at my MFP record in 2011...I got down to 128 for a while. WOW! I will not be depressed.

It was 107F yesterday. Nasty hot. No breeze. Today is forecast at 114F. 76F right now at 6:00 in the MORNING!!! Hmmmm, maybe this is a beer day...haven't had beer for a long time...I can bring Ronan's little swimming pool inside, fill it with water, find a beach chair, sit, splash my feet, and drink beer. Yeah, ...okay...everything cept the beer part, I guess.

Paula, the kid has two teen brothers.

Walking w/DH then shop for soup then yoga.

I hate weather that hot! You two stay in where it is cooler. That is crazy! Chris scoot over, I am joining you for a beer! :)

Paula I was bad last night too. Better day today. Last night it was fudge cookies. They were not even that good! :#

Shelley, your beach chair is waiting for you...beer in the ice chest. I hate when I've just eaten all of it, and it wasn't really that good. Done that one too many times!

    145.8 this morning at 5:00.

Walking this morning w/DH then getting flowers for Nick's niche then maybe a NAP!!!!!

Sounds great Chris! And you think we would learn not to bother with things that are not really tasty! Yeah! I find I enjoy the times I get to visit the resting place of loved ones. So serene and contemplative. Makes me enjoy the ones I have even more. It is usually a few years between visits since my departed loved ones are all in Washington. I usually take my mom and Rocky with me. Hugs. <3

    Chris,

I will think of you when I go with Helen to her niche. May you be eased, my friend.

The fates forgave me for last night's excess - down 1# to 165.

SIL said "sometimes children see through unbiased eyes" and apparently 7yr niece Olivia finds me spiritual - she's asked me to give the prayer at her baptism. Surprised its OK w/Bro, but he'll check to see if a non-mormon can pray to a non-mormon feeling (not god) to bless a child in a mormon ceremony.

    <3 you

Chris he must have been a very special young man. <3

Paula what a great family photo. Love all those smiles! :p

I missed weighing in. It was so smoky around here that I went outside to watch it! Yuch!

    He was, Shelley. <3<3

Wish I'd missed weighing in...147.8 at 5:00 this morning. Lunch at Black Angus w/girlfriends yesterday was good...as was the food and cheesecake. :o

It is really smoky here, too! We can usually see Mt. Diablo from just about anywhere in the city, but we haven't seen it in four days. Now, it is a beautiful mountain and aliens could have decided they wanted it for their back yard and just picked it up....hmmmm. Boy, howdy, our view would be ugly then!

I think last week is catching up with me. 166#. Maybe we should designate this a "don't weigh, no way" week?

    Paula

smokey, muggy, hot, clammy, yuck! You'd think we'd lose sweat weight at least!

191.8 this morning. Sorry ladies September is my busiest month at work. And we're helping FEMA by taking calls for disaster assistance for the folks in Texas. Let's pray for Florida. It's not looking good. I'll check in when I can and try to catch up on your posts.

Fall tennis season starts Sunday. We had our first drills last night with Coach D. I think that's why I'm down slightly.

Have spent the last three days boxing up books in my library. The AC is dead and so is the elevator. So intense heat as me, staff and lots of volunteers saved the 2nd floor book collection. We had contractors on the first floor carrying out soggy books, wet carpet etc. Now all my staff is reassigned to other locations and I'm working on finding temporary locations for our reading and ESL classes, book discussion groups etc.
All that sweating and I gained a bit. 130,4.
Well, able to get back on track now so on will be better next week. hyw87vhrflzv.jpg

165.5 today. My boss wants to blame the bad reviews on someone other than herself. :ohwell: Ain't life jolly.

Clara stay safe. I gain at times when I am really bust also. So sorry for all the loses. :(

Kathy that is great you are able to help others in anyway possible! And a loss is a loss! Take it. :)

Chris I love food also! To much! And I am glad to see it is coming back off. :)

Paula what reviews? Boss better not be blaming you! :o

Rocky spoke with the surgeon today. Surgery was set for October 2nd. There was a scheduling problem and they called and will have to reset the date! He is in a lot of pain. :'(

146.6 at 5:00 this morning. Good.

I have a younger sister living in Fla's panhandle. She's pretty worried. If pictures are correct she will get the edges of Irma.

But it's never hot in San Francisco!!!! :o

192.6 this morning...ugh. Tennis match today...maybe that will help.

They've closed some Atlanta area schools in anticipation of rain, possible tornados and 40-50 mph winds. Can't complain Florida will get worse. I just hope power stays on.

    Stay safe, Kathy! <3

163 this morning. That's actually up from yesterday, because when I weighed in the afternoon (hadn't eaten yet) I'd gotten down to 162.5 - my lowest in about three years.

My son in-laws brother lives in Huston. House is flooded. But they are OK! I truly hope people heeded the warnings and got out. But I know that not all did. :( Easier said......

Kathy I hope your power stays on also. We have a generator since we have been in to many power outages. There are going to be a lot of displaced families and livestock. I feel horrible for all the animals. If I was a young woman again I would be on my way down to help. Take care.

Clara how are you doing? Hopefully still doing OK.

Chris I hope that those tears were mixed with joy at a new boy loving that hat. :)<3 He sure is cute! o:)

Paula love that you are back on track! I am joining you tomorrow!
