I typically love to read, but it's been almost 2 years since I last picked up a book for fun. Anyone have suggestions?
I've had bad insomnia this week, I'm wondering if I might be better able to fall back to sleep when I wake up middle of the night if I flip on the light and read for a few minutes rather than laying there thinking about not being able to sleep.
I think the last book I read was the Martian. I'm not too keen on fantasy type books, but did read the Hunger Games and Divergent series.

The most enjoyable book I've read recently was Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty. It's a quick read and I totally devoured it during my last vacation. I just listened to Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?: And Other Questions You Should Have Answers to When You Work in the White House by Alyssa Mastromonaco and enjoyed it a great deal.
My favorite bedtime book for a long time was Under the Banner of Heaven by John Krakauer. Interesting read but not so fascinating you can't fall asleep reading it0 -
Something short, older, and totally hilarious: Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day. I read it at the beach.0
