September Reset

All my training places, well except my neighborhood, are closed due to hurricane damage. So challenging myself to find alternate ways to train. My last two races were cancelled so needing mental push to continue to train. Motivated because i lost a little weight and having lots of tests done to rule another source of cancer! First biopsy negative but back to whole foods as much as possible. My family are all safe from the storm and most have power. Time for me to spend this time to reset....started with hand weights in the house. .of course cutting up tree limbs count too!

    @barbhat13 So glad to hear that you and your family made it through ok. Sept was a reset for me too I am back on track again. I think I have a goal weight this time. I was always wishy washy on a goal now I am like nope let's just go for it. Gives me incentive to get up in the morning lol. Plus only logging food and not chatting on here except 4 weekends helps too. I was talking but not doing. Hope everyone is doing well. So glad your tests came back neg .

    Still clearing yard of tree limbs and putting house back to no hurricane status. Resetting today....got baseline blood sugar and weight...defrosting grouper for dinner and got big pot of broccoli on stove for daily serving. Eating breakfast egg muffins made with no bread...eggs veggies cheese...End of the year goal...down 15 pounds...back to healthy me.

    The 15 lbs is my goal too. I am exercising and watching every calorie hoping to see the scale move one of these days.
