Everyone says it, but just how do you do it? How do you take the guidelines of the WW program and turn them into a lifestyle you can live every day...from now on? That is what we are here to explore. Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion. Newbie? Join in! Veteran? Join in! Your thoughts may be just what someone else needs to hear.
Monday -- 88Olds
Tuesday -- goldenfrisbee
Wednesday -- GoRun2
Thursday -- imastar2
Friday -- Al_Howard / imastar2 Covering for Al
Today's topic: Let's suspend reality for a moment and imagine that you find a magic lantern and a genie appears ready to grant you one wish. The only catch is that wish has to be for something that will support your ability to better LTL. What would you pick?

PSA - Welcome to fall! It is already 75 degrees here in the Chicago area and we are heading up into the 90s again today. We've broken high temperature records the last 2 days. My perception is that September has been warmer than August was.
My wish is to not have to be chained so firmly to my current job. I provide the health insurance for DH & I. DH has another 7 years before he can go on Medicare. I have 9 years to go. My current job has been especially stressful this year due to major budget issues which will not be resolved in the near future. Stress and uncertainty is a major driver of my off plan eating. In addition, I would like to work less hours to free up more time to hike, bike, and even volunteer at the Arboretum as these activities really help reduce my stress level and help me enjoy life more fully.
But the reality is that we need health insurance and with my pre-existing conditions, I need to stay part of a group plan to keep the insurance costs manageable.0 -
Gosh just one? ooops poof. Lol. OK maybe the ability to do it all in yoga with ease of movement. Stress would float away on a magic carpet..
No wonder sister cruising out here in Oregon with highs in 60s instead of being home in Chicago. We had fall fell overnight but maybe 80°s next week again??0 -
Fix my feet.
I have certain logistical challenges right now. But I need the right podiatrist in south Florida. The guys in Key West aren't to my liking.0 -
To eat healthier than I am not to be diabetic border line now, and lose the much needed weight because of my disabilities also to help my wife through her major het issues.0

I wish for a free, on-demand personal trainer to join me on every workout.0 -
Oh Magic Genie (picturing Barbara Eden) please instill in me the desire/abilities to fix fabulous WW recipes like the ones I see in WW Weekly, cook books etc.
Can I just ask the Genie to become my personal chef?1 -
That I never had the drive to eat to the point of needing to be here in the first place.1

To eliminate my hunger cues. That way I can plan my nutrition and eat accordingly without biology getting in the way.1
-
To change my brain to accept when eating to being satisfied instead of eating to fullness or stuffed stage or eating till I'm full.0
