Well it might not be a good start but it doesn't mean the day can't get better! You've got this!0

It didn't go as well as I had hoped.
I've found a daily routine which seems to be helping and yesterday some things came up in the morning so I didn't follow it. My not so good morning slipped into a not so good lunch. I had a very small dinner and I think my day's calories were probably around maintenance.
So the lessons are
1. follow the routine that works - I could have followed it at breakfast time if I had wanted to. It just would have required a bit of work.
2. There was absolutely no reason not to do better at lunch. On days where things start off not so well I have to make an even bigger effort to follow the routine for the next meal.
Oh yeah, and
3. actually remember all this when I am struggling !!!0 -
Every day that you show up and try is a step closer to reaching your goals!1

I really relate to this because I do the same thing - have you thought about maybe having a fitness journal/notebook to write things down so you can look at them and be reminded when the computer/phone isn't available? This is what I plan to try in hopes that it'll keep me grounded/determined/motivated but of course I spent months (and by months I mean 10) just trying to figure out how I wanted to set it up so my 2017 planner is nearing it's end already haha but besides that I think what Tiffany said is on point. We're here for you - struggles and all!

thank you for your support.
the last few days have all been good.
@WifiresGettingFit I am more likely to have a computer or phone with me than a notebook !0 -
Well I did say when the computer/phone isn't available. haha I'm glad you've had some more good days! Keep it up!0

I'm going to preempt my weekend CICO struggle by starting my Saturday with a really long walk. Not exactly what I meant when I said 'come up with a plan' - I was after a way to control my calories in rather than increase my calories out but since I've got time today...why not ?
It buys me another week to figure out a plan.0
