I haven't been posting on here much....I think I was this time last year and then I lost momentum around Jan and just stopped logging. I maintained my loss though through May and began again, and with some exceptions of a few days here and there I have been going strong since may.

So lets see.....

Aug 8, 2016 I weighed in at 376.4.....wow
Jan I had gotten to 354.4 and then I let life stop me, totally lost motivation....and even desire.
May16, 2017 was my official start back, I was so stunned to see 355.4 on the scale, I had thought for sure I would have been back to where I started.
And my last weigh in I was 320.4.

Currently I am trying to get at least 5 good workouts a week. And trying really hard to learn how to not blow my calories on the weekends....or stress...Yesterday was a complete stress eating, and drinking....we had something really tragic happen in the family and I felt like numbing it a bit.

Anyway, I'm excited to see this go...I was so hoping to be under 300 by my 11th wedding anniversary Oct 21st. But I don't think I am going to drop 20lbs by then. But it'll be good to not be pushing 400lbs this anniversary. Even taking those 50lbs off has made such a difference in how I feel. I'm so looking forward to officially being out of the 300s. Its feels so close and yet so so so far!!!

How are you guys doing on your journey?

Welcome back to the group ShaDucky, sounds like some of those changes you made really stuck with you.

My journey keeps moving forward, as you seen in the other post I'm struggling but I am not stopping. In total I lost 45 lbs from my highest weight that stalled but I maintained for the last 4 months so I know some things stuck with me. And your right about even loosing 50 lbs making a huge difference, the 45 I lost totally changed my life!

I hope you keep up the hard work and you are able to find what works for you

Ugh, I am back after many years! Not quite back at the 300 level, but darned near close. Nothing like losing 60 pounds and then, like a prodigal child, they come right back. So, here I am, doing a reset and putting my best foot forward. I have been diagnosed as a diabetic now, and would love to control it with diet and not end up on insulin.

Challenges are the financial part of eating well and a household with two adult daughters who use all their expendable income on bringing junk food into the house. I have also dealt with the breakdown of a marriage since I was really here in full force. Lots of barriers, BUT I am a fighter and I feel like I have a bit of my spunk back.
