Happy Friday everyone! Good news for all you coffee lovers today is National Coffee Day! This long debated drink has been a topic of controversy but research is showing that coffee consumption could be linked to several health benefits! However, don't be fooled-if you're not careful that coffee drink could be the sneaking culprit of excess weight gain and high sugar intake:

A grande (small) pumpkin spice late at Starbucks has 380 calories, 14grams of fat, 240mg of sodium, and 52 carbohydrates!

While a grande cafe americano has just 15 calories, 0grams of fat, 15mg of sodium, and 3 carbohydrates!

The key is being informed, check the Nutriton facts and be creative! You can still enjoy your favorite drinks but try lightening them up by asking for low fat creamer, sugar free syrups/flavorings, and leaving off the whipped toppings!
