@Janet - Glad you're starting to feel better. I'm more like you. When I get sick I want to eat everything.
@clepant - I really hope the new meds treat you better than the old meds. Can you start and the new meds and just stop the old meds; or do you need to wean off the old meds?
Dean: Same meds just a different dose. I use to take 200mg/ 300mg alternating days until my doctor said I should be on 300mg. I was sent back to my GP to maintain seizures as I never had them again. Just three in my sleep in my late 20's. Every time my neurologist increased the dose, I had major issues with toxicity. I tried to tell my GP this but not dealing with this with me in the past made them question my comments. So it built up over the last month. After convincing them that the levels were up, they sent me for blood work and I was correct. So now they are putting me on a 230 mg dose a day. But no one told me what dose to take while I waited to get the 30 mg capsule. I basically self medicated by guessing from last Thursday until today. Not a good thing. All because his nurse would not ask him fo me what dose should I take until I got the 30 mg dose. My hubby will see him Friday and I am sending a letter with him to let him know that his nurse and office staff would not respond to my request. He is a fabulous doctor but there are serious staffing issues in his office.
When I took my dad in with what I thought was some bleeding again, his tech asked me in a really nasty tone as to why I didn't call gastro and go to them instead of coming to their office. I told my doctor that perhaps I need a doctor that specialists in dealing with elderly patients with multiple health issues. He told me that I came to the right place and guaranteed me that they can handle multiple health issues. I guess their office has been called out these things and we have ticked off some of their workers. We will now go to their other office from this point on because we think there is some conflicts of interest and I don't want to die because I am someone's sh-- list. I started my new dose today and I felt okay so here is hoping I don't deal with that again.0 -

Congrats on making OCTOBER GOAL to @SUGARNSPICE1922, @KARID1114 and @ROCKANN16!! :drinker:
@DEAN - I'm sure it's a little bit of both. I haven't exercised barely at all in the last two weeks. I'm trying have to wear my body down any more than necessary. Leave all available energy for repairs. I do think I am turning a corner though. My phlegm factory is finally cutting production! I'm still trying to cough up all of the gunk left inside of me. I think I'm going to go to the gym tonight and sit in the steam room again too. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel now!
@SUSSEXBYTHESEA - Wow, that was a great month for you! Nice job! :drinker:
