Bacon...cooked or uncooked?

so...I'm relatively new to LCHF and I've been finding my way through...however...I'm confused and perhaps this confusion is ridiculous but who better to ask than all of you guys!
When measuring and calculating bacon Cals, Fat, and Protein...do I do that from the cooked state or the uncooked state? The package nutritionals don't specify. I weigh everything and to me that leads me to believe the nutritionals are for uncooked because it says 2 slices (56g) but obviously after it is cooked it weighs far less.
so with that being said...how do I calculate the nutrition after it has been cooked and fat rendered?
Thanks in advance!!!!

See how your bacon package nutrition info compares to info from this thread a couple of days ago:

But yes. Definitely cook bacon, no matter what.
Unless it's salame or prosciutto, uncooked bacon is definitely a no-no .
Which I originally thought is what this thread was about.0 -
I have always thought the calories were for cooked bacon cause it wld never dawn on me to eat it raw. However the back of my Maple Leaf bacon says it is about 100 calories, 6g protein & 9.5g fat per slice RAW. Their website says it is 45 calories 3, 3g protein and 4g fat per slice COOKED. Who knew. Thanks for the question.0

It's because they assume the fat runoff from cooking will be drained. So depending on how you eat your bacon, you might have to adjust the numbers accordingly.1

Or just buy pre-cooked bacon, scan the barcode and the package and eliminate the headache where logging this is concerned.0
