How do you think if you had a high calorie /fat desert?

I am nowhere perfect and I try to keep a positive thought. If someone seems like they are staring then I will ask them what are you looking at.
How do you think if you had a high calorie /fat desert?
If it something I don’t get hardly at all then I don’t feel guilty having a serving. If I indulge then I’m mad at myself for a while and then get over it.
If something bad happens do you think it will continue happening , no matter what you do?
I do get negative thoughts when I can’t get it to go the way I think it should. DW is a great supporter to me and gets me back to being positive.
How do you think if you had a completely terrible week?
I sometimes feel like throwing in the towel. I know that is not going to get me to where I what to be so I do not give up.

When I start saying I can’t I need to think about why I think I can’t and turn it into positive thinking.
When I ‘m thinking negative I tired and on happy. When I’m positive I ‘m cheerful and energetic.

Depends. If they are looking at me with a hostile expression, I would think negative. But as related to WL, I think I look good, I assume everybody thinks like I do.
How do you think if you had a high calorie /fat desert?
Well, down here in Key West that would be the chocolate dipped frozen Key Lime pie on a stick. So I would think, that was terrific. Then I would think, easy does it with those. I think I've had 3 this year.

No. I was diagnose with bladder cancer about 5 1/2 yrs ago. Treated. Did what Dr said. Hasn't returned, so no.

I don't think in those terms.

Well, not sure I understand this question so I'll answer like this. There's a middle ground. Actually, infinite middle ground. There's more to life than just the good and bad.
Plus, the self talk never ends. People spend years learning to meditate just to get a few moments of quiet. So since the brain rarely shuts up, a lot of "thinking" is just junk. I don't need to change what I'm doing because some weird or disturbing thought drifts by. It's just junk.
Last- when I catch them, I try to push back against negative thoughts. I don't have to flip them to positive. I just have to neutralize them. If I can neutralize most negatives, I'm left with net positive. This has been a real challenge for me.2 -

Mostly neutral - I don't much think about others looking at me really... when I do, then I get very self-conscious. Not that I think I look bad but I think that I might... it's complicated I guess... so refer to part 1- I don't think about others looking at me.

That was tasty! Now.. better go log it before I forget... am I working out tonight? Yes? Good.. easy to stay under. No? Well hrm - maybe my week will balance out. Onward and downward.

... most of the time, no. I'm a firm believer that I forge my own destiny. There may be some things out of my control, but I accept them, and move on.

I'll let you know if I ever have one. There's always good in the world, even among the bad.

Negative self-talk can be pretty brutal... I sometimes still catch myself at it. For me, it's a bi-product of inaction.. and a red flag that I have not been paying enough attention to whatever it is that's bugging me. If it's weight negativity then it's probably because I haven't been logging, or my workouts have been slipping.0 -

Most of the time I guess I'm pretty neutral unless there are clues to think otherwise. Honestly, I can't think of when I'm in this situation much. I can say that losing weight helped increase my self-esteem so maybe back in the day, I'd have defaulted to a more negative reaction. These days, not so much.

Anymore, this is a big decision for me. Maybe not right at that moment but it's something I'm far more likely to have thought about rather than just making a snap decision. Therefore, I feel just fine if I move forward with the decision to enjoy such a treat.

While it can sometimes feel that way, the reality is it's no more likely to continue happening as the opposite possibility is. And sometimes if I'm paying attention, there are things I can do to intervene to make sure bad things won't continue to happen.

I can feel defeated, but I also know a terrible week can turn around on a moment's notice. That spontaneity of life is one of the things that makes it worthwhile for me!

I can tend to overthink things as if there's only one absolute 'right' way. I sometimes go down that road unless and until I catch myself and realize I do the best I can with the information I have at the time. The truth is there's usually more than one option and we can seldom / never be completely sure. I guess what I'm saying is I may start down a negative road but try not to stay there.1 -

I'm neutral when I meet someone so there is no immediate thoughts in this area. I got over what others thought about me a long time ago. Pre WW and weight loss I did have negative thoughts but it was with me all the time.
How do you think if you had a high calorie /fat desert?
I know when I'm eating a high calorie / fat desert what I'm doing in fact it happened just tonight but not desert and enjoy it, track it, and move on.

No I believe it will have an ending and sooner than later I trust.

I feel pretty bad but it's not the end of the world. One day or one week does not make or break us in the big scheme of things. I put the weight on I can take it off. Maybe not as fast but I will get it off.

Not necessarily but if it does I do my best to head off the negative thought as quick as possible and move on.1 -
I have in fact had the case of the "what if"s where I slipped into negativity on other diet schemes. It isn't a good thing when I imagine the negatives and slip into them. Fortunately that hasn't really happened for any length of time so far with WW.0
