Hi everyone
I am getting a lower molar pulled out tomorrow and wondering if anyone has had that done and how long until you could swim again??

Was pretty sure any exercise was forbidden for several days but especially swimming due to risk of infection. Will update after the appointment!1

He ended up leaving it for now but did say that all exercise is a no go for two to three days after a simple extraction, and for two weeks if it's a complicated extraction!2

Personally, I'd ignore the prohibition. No children or elderly swim program stuff the lap pool. So substantially reduced chance of baby or old person "leakage" in the pool. Plus they have proper chlorine.
A pool at an embassy suites in PR wasn't keeping proper chlorine and lots of babies in diapers in the pool. Dozens of people got e coli poisoning in the ears, And digestive track. That included my son and me, and half of our larger family group. My niece's was taken by ambulance from the airport to the hospital after they wouldn't let him board. His sister was taken to the hospital as soon as we landed in Boston.
So Rom us definitely dependent on who us operating pool maintenance.0
