Today will be difficult, it is my late daughters birthday, I really need to stay focused and adhere to the UAC rules.

It's been a while since an NSV (non scale victory) discussion. Will try do this regularly for Saturdays from now on (even though today is Sunday ).
I love hearing how people are doing and the achievements along the way.
We all get little "wins" throughout the week. Often we forget them or gloss over them. Now is the time to shine a light on them.
So what are your NSV's for this week?
My NSV for this week is keeping in budget and on track with activity while travelling interstate this week (also having a colleague, that had not seen me since March, remark that I was looking better having lost weight).

@dejavuohlala. My thoughts are with you. I can only imagine how hard it must be.
Take the pass day if you need to.
The important part is to be kind to yourself during difficult times. It is too easy to self-sabotage.

So barely two weeks in, and I feel like I’ve failed - already used two pass days, and yesterday had a day out where I did not log and pretty sure I was over calories. Today I’m going to the ropes course. This is always difficult because I’m usually insanely hungry afterwards. Since I’m not totally sure how to account for the calorie expenditure, I tend to estimate a fairly low burn.
On the positive side, I’ve logged more days this month than I have in the past year. So it’s a work in progress. I know what I need to do, I just need to get back in the habit again. I still get to stay in the challenge, right? It just means I don’t get to that “winner’s circle”?
I’m also trying to figure out how how I can better manage the posting in here. I’d really like to be more interactive. Waiting until the end of the day (after I’m done eating), I’m just too tired to read and engage. And there’s so many posts! Which is awesome!!! Maybe I’ll have to pop in here more than once a day.
So my NSV (if it posts corrrectly) has been conquering the ropes course. This one element freaks me out every time. But I manage. It’s so cool to hear the little girls on the ground saying “I want to do that!”

@dejavuohlala sending you hugs for the day today.
@ka97 be kind to yourself. We don't give anyone the boot and you are making great strides keep up the good work !!!
My NSV I realized at work I don't have to eat at every break. I had that ah ha moment and was like why am I having a snack when lunch is in an hour?2 -
@ka9 you are a winner, not a failure! Being on this team and moving forward with accountability partners is a winner’s strategy. Please check to make sure your calorie goal is not too low!

@dejavuohlala my thoughts are with you.
@Ka9 That picture is unbelievable - I could never have done such a thing. Respect!
Unexpected NSV today. Was sorting out some more clothes to put in/bring out of storage and came across a dress I bought last year for a funeral. It arrived too late for me to take it with me and when I got back home I tried it on and it was awful - tight on top, baggy on the bottom and weirdly shapeless. I was going to give it away but forgot and it got packed away. Tried it on beginning of summer - still tight on top. So tried it on this morning - still shapeless, but not tight. Almost in the give-away pile but on a whim I tried it with a belt (I NEVER wear belts, look like a sack tied in the middle) and it looked great! So I've gained an article of clothing, and the start of a waist! Long way to go, but I'm heading in the right direction.6 -
@BadgerLamb thank you0

Signing in for 12th Nov 2017
I managed it!
Stayed within calories and logged everything( completed my diary early with my evening snacks included in case I'm tempted)
Two sessions on the static bike 15 minutes and 20 minutes.
12/12
Thank you all today for your kind thoughts. Carol7 -
@dejavuohlala - all my love and biggest hugs Carol. Thinking of you.
@ka97 - You're still in the UAC hun no matter how these past few days have worked out for you. Keep with us! As for posting, sometimes I can't get on here everyday so don't feel bad if you can't manage it. Read through the posts as and when you get time and you will find your own routine to logging and posting. It doesn't have to be in the evening. If you can plan your meals at the start of the day, thats what I do, and stick to that log you can post earlier in the day when it suits you.
That rope course looks brilliant, lol.
@BadgerLamb236 - Great NSV! Woohoo!
@craigo3154 - Great job staying on track while travelling. It must have been hard.
Been out on a bike ride again today. Clocked up 44miles this weekend and the weather, although so cold was sunny. Managed to miss the rain,lol.
Had a great couple of days.
My doggie's paw is healing nicely. She's back at the vets tomorrow for a check up but she's no longer limping which is good news! Will see what the vet thinks first though before we go Walkies anywhere yet.
3x yes for these past few days. Doing well so far and staying on track. Hope you've all had a great weekend.....xx
