So, after losing my nephew and my dad I was seriously grieving and was just hanging in there. We then got some BIG news from our youngest child that I also needed to work through. I had to step back and just be in the now and not worry about the future.

It's been a few weeks and I've just maintained my weight and worked through all the mess we had in our lives. After a glorious week with a group of wonderful women I am in a much better place. Women have such a different outlook that my husband just couldn't give me. We laughed, we cried, we ate and we drank. The fellowship was just what my head and heart needed.

I'm hoping to jump in here next week and finish out this challenge.

Life goes on and I'm ready to move forward.

Shelly

So glad you posted this Shelly. I too am learning that people (women) outside of my husband are what I may need in a moments time. Glad you are fulfilled with what you needed.

So sorry to hear about your losses. I lost my mom last year and the grief process is long and hard and sometimes you just need your girls. Husbands, bless their hearts, are just wired differently. Glad you're back in the group!
