why?

Why is it that for older short women, the approved BF %s and BMIs climb? I have heard the theory that they want you to have some "padding" in case of catastrophic illness but honestly I don't want to live my life at 30% BF because I might get sick. I am 5.1+ (Drs all say 5.2 round up) and 59 yo. My goal is BF under 20%, run a 10 minute mile 5K and maintain between 99 and 104. I have reached the weight and am close to the BF%. Not so close on the running but that will take longer. I am giving myself a year on that one ;)

I want to be a sporty shorty! MFP won't allow me to set maintenance at 100 if I put my height at 5'2". Pretty crazy.
