I just bought Chris Powell's Carb cycle book and I am just about to start. I am a registered nurse who works in a busy ICU 12 hour shifts 2 day shifts and then 2 night shifts then I am off for 5 days. On the day I am transitioning to a night shift I wake up early (0700) and then nap from 1400-1800 then I work until 7am. So it's like I have a day and a half in one day. How do I manage my meals that day? I always find I end up eating more because I am awake more.....that means I am always over my calories for that day. Can you help me map this out.

Am sure one day won’t hurt and I work out my deficit for the week and not just one day, am also carb cycling at the moment and I have a high carb/calorie day in the week anyway , so wouldn’t worry about it :-)0
