Weight Training Advice

I just finished Stage 2 of NROLFW today. In the book they recommend a 1-week hiatus between stages, however as I've *just* gotten on a roll with weight loss and my body doesn't feel stressed/pushed at all, was going to jump right in and start Stage 3 without taking the recommended break. Am I an idiot not to take a week off, or should it be safe to start it right away?
FYI I'm lifting 3x/week, running 3x/week, and doing yoga 2x/week.
Any input appreciated. :-)

I wouldn't worry about taking a week off, unless you feel like you need it.0
