What a day -- strained groin

Today would be my day 9 of Level 2. I took a rest day on Sunday (the first real rest day I've taken since July 5, meaning I didn't do any sort of work out at all) and then Monday I walked 4 miles and did my workout to make up for Sunday. I did my 3DS as usual yesterday and then this morning I woke up and I was just OVER IT. I could NOT get motivated at all. Finally, around noon, I decided to just do it, thinking I'd get into it once I started and that it would lift my mood for the rest of the day.
During the first set of planks with jump squats, I modified the move to be more of a mountain climber and I totally strained my groin. So -- mood is not better at all and now I may have to sit it out until my groin doesn't hurt. Not a happy camper, especially since I pumped myself up to have a good attitude and really thought the workout would turn my day around.
