When MFP changed their format I saw red. I was calculating what I needed to eat & eating all for it or over. I need the calories to fuel my strength training WOs. I dead lifted DBs 45 lbs this morning, that’s one in each hand for a total of 90 lbs. I’m a 59 yr old 5’ 2” 114.8 lb person as of this morning. I have increased the base calories to 2500 so it is green now but feel annoyed that MFP is trying to embarrass people to eat less. I been sucked in before with poor results for me. What happens is my body fat % increases and muscle tissue gets absorbed.
I used bodyweight squats & lunges to warm up, then went on to TUFF Lower Body2. I went up in weight for most exercises. For the dead lift I used DB 45 lbs. For lunges I used DB 30 lbs. I went forward for 1st set, stationary for 2nd & back lunges for 3rd set.
HRM 49:38, 299 cals, 131BPM average, 167 max, in zone 33:27
After a rest, I did TUFF Upper Body2. My left shoulder started to fail on the last set for the standing triceps extension. This exercise was done one arm at a time with a 15 lb weight.
HRM 41:52, 223 cals, 123BPM average, 150 max, in zone 35:56
