Hi guys.
Thanks April for setting up this group.
Apologies in advance for asking a question that may have been asked 1000 times over but I’ll ask again anyway....
My Calorie target has been set at 1734 on the JSA website for fat loss.
I have been trying to eat lower then this though, about 1500 calories. Should I be aiming for the 1700 mark as I feel I’m not losing or gaining at 1500 even with Christmas but then again I have only been really doing it seriously for a couple of weeks.
I also do weight training 3-4 times a week. Which I started about 2 months ago. So far I’ve lost 1kg in weight but have not re-done measurements. No cardio besides walking to places. I have a trainer I see 2x week.
Thanks.

If you aren’t getting results give the JSA numbers a try. It’s been said it is a trial and error process and if you are in it for the long haul a few weeks spent adjusting isn’t the worst thing. I used the numbers calculated for weight gain and actually lost weight so still trying to sort it out myself!1
