When I started this journey I was at 212 pounds and wearing a size 18. I was quickly able to fit back into my 16's and found two pairs of 14 jeans in the garage sale pile. I have been wearing both the 16's and the 14's for a while now.

Today I am 1 pound away from my first weight goal (170) and my reward is a new pair of pants that I am buying online, so I ran to the store to try on a pair of pants and found that I fit in size 12's with just a little tummy pudge! What?!?! I figured I would get to a size 12 when I hit my goal of around 150, but now I'm thinking I may be in size 10's...we'll see.

How many sizes have you all dropped?

How have you all been doing with clothes. I never know what to buy and when because I'm still trying to lose and I don't want to over buy at a size bigger than I will eventually be, but I also need clothes to wear so I'm not walking around in the same pair of pants for a week.

When I started this journey in January 2013, I weighed 297.6 lbs and should have been wearing a 26! I know scary numbers. Neway, my mom has been helping me out with sewing up the clothes that she can save. Well it was great having clothes that fit, but I was unsure of what size I was. 2 weeks ago was my mom's 60th birthday, and she wanted to do it big. So I took her shopping for a dress, well while I was there I tried on some thinking maybe I could find something nice to wear too. We were pulling out 24s, 22s, 20s thinking that's about where I was. They were all TOO BIG! Do you know how that felt?! I ended up fitting in a 18 pants and a 14/16 shirts and 14/16 maxi dresses! I was dumbfounded! It felt so good, because I haven't seen those sizes in 12 + years! And I really have MFP, and this group to thank for being the support system that I needed.

BTW So excited for you too! That is awesome! Keep it up!
