This graphic perfectly illustrates yesterday's Pass Day. I had the best of intentions to do a big exercise workout. But, I exercised Zero! I had great intentions to keep within my calorie limits, but wine with two separate groups of friends derailed that goal too.
I'm alive and well and as our dear team mate and mentor @Craigo3154 encourages us to think, "Don't look back. Look forward!!"
Have a great day!

@RangerRickL I was concerned about our team leader being MIA when you didn't post on the evening of the 22nd or until after midnight on the 23rd. A Pass Day is not always a "bad thing." Fortunately, we don't have to be perfect; and sometimes we need that Pass Day to re-energize the bunny, regroup, celebrate or recover. Tomorrow is always a new day!3

@RangerRickL. Love the graphic (just had to repeat it - love the firework at the end ). Tomorrow is a new day (new train, new track). Leave the past behind. No need to compensate for it either (avoid the spiral of increasing expectation into unfulfillable territory).
Enjoy the time with friends. That is what living is about. Just back to plan tomorrow.
28 days in February. 3 "pass" days amongst 24 other "non-pass" days will not be a problem. Weight/health management is long term and you must look after psychological and social health as well as bodily health.
A "pass" day is not necessarily a bad day. An intentional "pass" day is the best type. But an opportunistic one with good company is the next best type.7 -

Rick has set up a thread in the Challenge board inviting others to join UAC March http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/125735-ultimate-accountability-challenge-march-2018
The thread in the challenge board is: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10645600/ultimate-accountability-challenge-uac-march#latest
Please post in that thread what you like about UAC and how it has helped you. It helps encourage new members to join for the following month.
Regular posts in the challenge thread keep UAC on the first page of the challenges board and prompt more people to join.
It was out of such a thread (and post) that led me to join UAC (my favourite challenge).

I am so excited about work next week. Usually I get placed next to the slackers . I don't know mother figure so they feel guilty wondering off. Or maybe because later in the day all that water I am drinking starts to take effect and they know I have to tinkle so they stay close by. Lol This week my bf and I are cubbie buddies all week. First we do drive thru together then we go inside and are on the line together. Once again we are planning an adventure. Rope walking in trees LOL5

Also...if you are ever in Ohio...The Wilds in Cumberland is a very unique adventure (Endangered Species Wildlife Conservation, Safari Park, Zipline Safari and Horseback Safari. It is affiliated with the Columbus Zoo. We had a fabulous overnight/2 day adventure at The Wilds in 2016. We have been to Africa on safari. While not the same...The Wilds truly is the closest comparison to an African safari you'll find anywhere in the U.S. We loved the experience there.

Woot! Woot! 149.8lbs (lost 8.2 lbs since Jan 29)! Last time I got under 150lbs was 2-3 years ago! Next goal is get under 145lbs!
I have been cooking more, walking 2-3 times per week with my friends, start doing yoga, stop eating my family’s extra leftover just to “finish it”, more active and start taking care of myself more...
That being said... I was too excited this morning and somehow overate (made avocado smoothie and cooked three different kinds of Chinese dumplings - ate too much!)
Exercise: Yes, cleaning and cooking (lots of chopping, my arms are tired!), will try to walk afterwards.
Calories: hmmm... well...will try to eat nothing or something really light tonight for supper.
Tracked: yes and it’s horrifying to know I have only 200 calories left for dinner7 -

yes x 3 for today - left behind yesterday's crashing train! Exercise was a smorgasbord - a good walk, some stationary bike, and a strength session. While listening to Shostakovich - that made it pretty serious!4

I think I'm more like the turtle than the energizer bunny; but that's OK, too, just as long as I keep working at it.

Today was fun and productive too. I did a Saturday morning public workshop and then caught up on projects in the afternoon. No stress! Rose is in Phoenix with our friend, Anne. I'll be meeting Rose this Wednesday in @LorraineGB home town (this side of Great Britain anyway) Las Vegas.
Calories: nice margin
Exercise: only had time for walking today
Tracking: Back on the tracks

So here’s how today went… I have a pup that’s had an upset belly for a couple of days. He woke me around 3:45am to go out and I couldn’t get back to sleep. We didn’t go on our walk early because my soccer team was playing at 7am and we are dancing around the relegation zone. We should have walked, they lost. Then I went to an orientation to be a volunteer at the LV Animal Foundation.
I came home and promptly fell asleep and woke around 6:30pm.
@RangerRickL I really hope you and Rose enjoy your time here, there’s so much more to Vegas than the partying. And I’m really hoping I can catch up with you but as I’m out of town, I don’t know if that’ll happen?

Intentional pass day today. We have friends in town from England so we got a babysitter and gathered with several couples for a potluck meal of our favorite things. It was definitely the type of evening to linger and eat and enjoy good company, not worry about calories or tracking. #3 for me, but back on track tomorrow!5

Not doing too well, but still hanging on!6

Yes to all three!
I had a wonderful competition day yesterday. I qualified in the pool for the State 50+ Olympics in July! I have a lot of work to do...also I am working to qualify at 1500m on the track in May...so no slacking for me LOL. What was most amazing to me were these two women who were 82 and 84. They swam all the long distances in the pool...400 and 500 m. They were like the energizer bunny. One lady blew kisses to the audience when she reached the wall! What a great role model for continuing activity as we age...
