Sometimes when you join a MFP Challenge, you feel that to be 'successful', you must be like the Energizer Bunny everyday! If you never let down and allow yourself to rest and recuperate, then your body will rebel and you will get ill. Allow yourself to have both active and rest cycles. You don't want to end up like the bunny below.

Have a great day!2

So true @RangerRickL , and I think thats why I found myself so exhausted last weekend.
I feel much better now that i have increased my calories (even after just 3 days!) I have the energy to do the exercise that I WANT to do. It's not a chore. We'll see how I go when the weekend swings around and my morning routine is off.
Yes x3 - ran/walked to wor + 50minutes at the gym after work; and stayed within my calories, and its all tracked!6 -

Exercised?: Yes. 6km in 47 mins (hills).
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Walk after dinner. Work day.
Not much else of interest to report.
As @RangerRickL. said, no need to always be an Energizer Bunny. Some days should have lower activity than others.

Calories: Yes.
Tracking: Yes.2 -
A quiet day - thanks @RangerRickL for helping not consider it a lazy day. I got a lot of work done on a grant application I have been procrastinating. I tracked, stayed within calories, and had a brisk walk instead of a big workout.

I cooked Paula Dean’s corn casserole yesterday, put only 1/4 stick of butter instead of the whole thing... still delicious but realize it’s somehow too heavy for me now, even though I only ate a small slice.
Didn’t exercise, but I was very busy rehearsing the whole day, and one of the pieces was quite intense... and I am going to clean for 20 minutes so going to count that as a Yes.
Exercise: Yes
Calories: Yes, barely (corn casserole has more calories than I realize)
Tracked: Yes

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 1hr cardio class plus walking
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, I almost gave in to temptation for dinner as I was feeling quite hungry after my meal, but I opted out of the pasta I made for the kids and had berries instead. My belly is satisfied and I don't have any guilt!

During the winter, I walk most days. I do cardio/strength/intervals twice per week. In the summer, I love to be out and about here on the farm. I get lots of exercise. Even though the calories burnt per minute are low, my total minutes are in the 1 to 4 hour range. I always lose some weight and inches.
My fitness goal is to stay flexible and be able to do the things that I love to do for as long as I live. The only way to achieve that goal is to exercise consistently and persistently.
Calories: under by a small margin
Exercise: walk for 25 minutes
Tracking: Ok2 -

@BadgerLamb236 @w8goal4life Thank You!
The fire at The Wetlands was not at Duck Creek as I thought, it was smack in the center of the Nature Reserve and scorched about 14 acres. I saw the clean up crew when I walked Mama Girl and thought to myself that parking where they did was a long way from the fire. Got home and saw drone footage, it breaks my heart. Neighbours that back onto the park we’re saying they could see the wildlife scurrying for cover. Cause of fire is still being investigated.
On a more positive and happy note, Mama Girl was sniffing a bush and two huge Jack Rabbits jumped out and ran off, she just watched them go, no prey drive, just a whole lot of inquisitive! whoopeeeeee!
Two photos of MG because she makes me smile

@RangerRick, thanks for the reminder. I'm always inclined to run myself down. I'm working on learning to move more slowly, and to not stress as much at work.
Yes x 3, weight lifting, and dog walking. Probably too much under calories.1 -
