Why I do boot camp instead of Crossfit

Some people have asked me why I do not like Crossfit when I do a boot camp class 2 or 3 times a week.
For one thing, Crossfit involves a lot of heavy, fast lifting that boot camp does not.
While some moderate weights are used at some of the training circuits in the boot camp class I participate in, people are not being graded for speed. It's basically you do a certain kind of lift for one or two minutes, then move onto the next station. If the instructor sees that someone is not able to use that weight and keep proper form, he (or she) tells them to use something lighter.
