Hey, y'all! I'm Sherri and I'm 48, 5'4" and 171 pounds, down from 185!!! I am ashamed to say that last year very nearly destroyed me in EVERY way- stress, anxiety, depression from a business failure and being primary caregiver to my Mom who has dementia. I started running last fall sporadically and over the last few months have begun it in earnest, added weight training, HIIT, and becoming consistent. Now I'm running 5-7mi each workout, 4x/wk, weights on top of that 2x/wk, burning 1000cal each workout. Jan 1 I started tracking my food intake and that's when I started losing weight.
I'm trying to lose 10 more pounds by 3/31, which I believe is doable. I'll receive my kitchen scale today so I can start tracking macros accurately and I've been researching recipes online. Adding the macros to my fitness plan will kick start more weight loss I'm sure. I'm super excited I've come this far because I've worked REALLY HARD, especially this past month! THANK YOU for all the inspiration! It is so encouraging being in a group of like-minded folks!

good for you, and wtg on all the running and strength workouts you are getting in. I do the same, a bit of everything. Running has always been my go to exercise but lately I have been doing quite a bit of other stuff. I would like to see 10 lbs gone by mid April. Very do-able but I need to get serious!0

Way to go on the running. I have been trying to get out running more often but I find that hard. I finally got to the point were I was doing it consistanly but it got too cold and snowy here so I had to stop. Weather is now getting a bit nicer so I will be getting out a little more often.0
