Favorite Set this week

Love swimming with Blue Wave, the coaches are always coming up with new sets that are challenging and my lane mates make it fun. This week we have done the good 'ol kick board between the legs while pulling. That engages the core and helps focus on balance. So our set was

25 kick 50 pull with kick board between legs 25 kick
2x 50 swim
three times

    Endurance set
    All 200s to be swum at moderate effort

    3x 200IM on 4.00
    (3.14 3.12 3.08)

    100 free easy on 2.00

    3x 200 back on 4.00
    (3.15 3.13 3.10)

    100 free easy on 2.00

    3x 200 free on 4.00
    (2.54 2.52 2.46)

    Today's was
    10x200 F @ 4' as: ↓5- 2-2-1
    start moderate 5x 200
    3.05 3.05 3.05 3.03 3.03

    increase pace 2x200
    2.58 2.58

    increase pace 2x 200
    2.53 2.51

    last 200 is fast, but aim for even split
    2.43

    Great idea for a thread!!! Must try the kick board between legs but can envisage losing it frequently!

    Let's kick it set- I will modify to get up to 4 miles, but here is the original set sent to me
