    Hi @fatbambi2017 there are 58 known reptiles in the Sonoran Desert and that includes 6 different species of rattlesnake. I have seen rattlesnakes while horseback riding in the high desert in Wyoming and Montana. I have not seen any snakes while hiking. They do not want to be seen and are marvelously camouflaged.

    @RangerRickL wow!!!we get adders and grass snakes, they do look beautiful and we are lucky to see them but I have the phobia so do tend to run....
